Join the Society.
No prior AI experience required. Just curiosity and follow-through. Applications for the Fall 2026 semester are closed, but you can join the interest list and we'll email you the moment the next cycle opens.

Questions
Frequently asked questions.
Have questions about joining AIS? We've got answers.
Do I need AI or coding experience?
No. Many members start with curiosity and nothing more. The Foundation Series exists precisely to take beginners to the point of contributing.
Do I have to be a business major?
AIS lives in the Hankamer School of Business, but applied AI touches every field. Students from across Baylor are welcome; diverse backgrounds make better teams.
What's the time commitment?
Expect regular meetings plus the time you put into projects and the Foundation Series. It scales with how involved you want to be, and it's most rewarding when you lean in.
When can I join?
We recruit in cycles. Applications for the Fall 2026 semester are closed. Join the interest list from the button above and we'll let you know the moment the next application cycle opens.
Is there a cost?
Membership details, including any dues, are handled by Finance & Operations and shared during recruitment.
