Find out where AI could give your team time back.

Ai Society at Baylor is a student team that builds AI workflows and automations. Tell us what slows your team down. We'll map where AI fits, and a small team led by our officers can build a pilot on tools you already use.

What we help with

Three ways to start.

Each one is small on purpose and ends with something concrete.

Map a workflow

We sit down with your team, map one or two processes that eat hours, and show where AI fits and where it doesn't.

You get a short written summary of where AI could save time.

Build a pilot

A small student team builds one working automation or agent on tools you already use, scoped with you before any work starts.

You get a hand-off document so your team can run the pilot.

Train your team

A hands-on workshop drawn from our Foundation Series, the track we use to train our own members.

You get one session for your team, planned with you around your questions.

How it works

From first message to hand-off.

Four steps. Nothing gets built until you have approved a written scope.

  1. Tell usSend the form below. Jax Johnson, our VP of External Relations, reads every inquiry and replies within two business days.
  2. A 20-minute scoping callA short call with Jax to understand the work and whether we're a good fit. It's free, and you're not committing to anything.
  3. A written scope you approveWe write down what we'll build, what data it uses, and how confidentiality and ownership work. Nothing starts until you sign off.
  4. Build and hand-offA small student team, overseen by our officers, builds the pilot and hands it over with documentation so your team can run it.

Built and run by us

We run our club on what we build.

We don't have client case studies yet. What we do have are working systems our members built and run every day, so you can see the work before you talk to us.

Why a student team

Be one of our founding partners.

Outside projects are new for us. That means early partners get officer-level attention and help shape how the program works.

  • Fresh eyes. Students who use these tools every day look at your process without the habit of how it has always been done.
  • A small first step. A scoping call and a written summary cost you nothing. A pilot is small, scoped and kept out of your critical path.
  • Led by officers. Every project is overseen by officers who already build and run the working tools listed above.
  • Baylor students. Our members are Baylor students, many of them from the Hankamer School of Business.
  • People you may want to hire. You work alongside students who could be your next interns or hires.

Tell us what slows your team down.

A few sentences is plenty. We'll take it from there.

Jax Johnson VP of External Relations. Reads every inquiry and replies within two business days.
Keep it general for now. We'll agree on confidentiality and ownership in writing before work starts.

Thanks. Your message is with Jax.

Jax Johnson, our VP of External Relations, will reply within two business days from his Baylor email address. If nothing arrives, check your junk folder or write to him at [email protected].

Please don't include confidential information. Want to speak at a meeting or sponsor the club instead? Tell us here too.

Questions

What you'll want to know.

What does it cost?

Free during our founding semester. That covers the scoping call, the written summary and the pilot.

How much of our time does it take?

The scoping call is 20 minutes. While a pilot runs, we ask for one contact on your side and about an hour a week for questions and a check-in.

What about our data and confidentiality?

By default we work on sample or redacted data, with no access to your live systems. Anything beyond that is agreed in writing first. Ask us about confidentiality on the scoping call; we'll agree on it in writing before work starts.

Who owns what gets built?

We'll agree on ownership in writing before work starts, so it's settled before anyone writes a line of code. Every pilot ends with a hand-off document so your team can run it.

When could work start?

We follow the academic calendar. An inquiry sent now is scoped this fall, and most builds start in spring 2027 unless a fall slot is open. We take on a small number of partner projects each semester.

What don't you do?

We don't offer production support, uptime guarantees or ongoing maintenance. Students graduate, so every pilot ends with a hand-off, and a pilot should stay out of your critical path. We're a student organization, not a consulting firm.
