The AIS executive board on the steps outside the Foster Campus

Leadership

The Board.

AIS is run by a President and eight Vice Presidents, peer officers, each with a clear focus, organized as a flat heterarchy. The President convenes and connects; the VPs own the work.

How the board works

Peers, not a pyramid.

Each officer owns a focus, but cross-officer communication, not directives, turns ideas into decisions. Consensus is the default; the President breaks ties when one is needed.

The AIS board as a flat heterarchy: President plus eight VP roles connected as peer nodes across three pillars.
Every officer is a peer node with a clear focus.

Open role

Help lead a young organization.

The VP of Finance & Operations seat is open. If you're a Baylor student who wants to shape how AIS runs, it's a real opportunity.
