For members

The toolkit.

AIS runs on real infrastructure. Members and officers get genuine AI tooling, a shared workspace, and a growing knowledge base, the same stack our projects ship on.

Workspace & tooling

What you get access to as part of the society.

Officer workspace

AI-dev officers get a private, browser-based VS Code (code-server) at <id>-code-ais.baylor.tech: a full dev environment with the whole shared workspace mounted.

LiveOfficer access

App hosting

Every officer container gets a published app slot at <id>-app-ais.baylor.tech: run a Streamlit dashboard, a Bun service, or any web app straight from your workspace.

Live

Claude (cloud)

Officers link their own Claude session and use Claude Code right inside the workspace, the same agentic tooling that built this site.

Live

Local Claude (Ollama)

A free, self-hosted local model is available to every officer via claude-local: no token required, runs on the society's own server.

Live

Coming online

Tiers we're standing up so every member, not just dev officers, has access.

Member chat

A shared LibreChat tier at chat-ais.baylor.tech giving all members read access to the society's knowledge, and space to do their own work.

Planned

Assistant bots

Role-aware Matrix bots that let members reach select workspace resources through simple chat commands.

Planned

Public vault

A read-only public mirror at vault-ais.baylor.tech of curated society knowledge, governance, and public projects.

Planned

Knowledge base

Guides and shared know-how, written by members for members.

Web scraping toolkit

A complete Node.js toolkit for extracting structured content from authenticated sites: cookies, headless browser, rich-text → Markdown, media, and a worked end-to-end example.

Guide

Mobile shim

A small JS + CSS toolkit that retrofits a phone-friendly layout onto desktop-built web apps, the trick behind Cookie Clicker's mobile mode.

Toolkit

Officer handbook

Roles, responsibilities, and operating principles, plus onboarding and a "working with Claude" guide for new officers in the workspace.

Internal
Most tooling above is gated to officers or the Baylor community by Cloudflare Access. Member-wide access expands as the chat and bot tiers come online.
